TEXAS | A teenager who has lost his eyesight because of his obsession with masturbation is reaching out on facebook and warning others the risks of masturbation are just too high.
The 17-year-old teen who has been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) admits he could masturbate over 16 times a day before losing his eyesight.

Although Josh Turnip knows most teens don’t indulge in masturbating as much as he did, he admits he hopes others will heed his warnings.
“I started to have blurry vision, sometimes I would even pass out completely” he recalls, visibly emotional. “My doctors thought I had epileptic seizures. It is only when I turned almost completely blind that we realized what was the true cause of my fading eyesight,” he adds.
“I just hope that by telling my story to the world I can prevent this from happening to other teens who think masturbating comes with no consequences,” he concludes.
Doctors believe Josh’s condition could improve in the months to come and have noticed a slow recovery of visual functions since he has changed his habits.
