Republicans Accuse Barack Obama Of Doing His Job

WASHINGTON, D.C. | Democrats praised President Barack Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland. Republicans, however, said they see no need to fill the high court vacancy in the midst of a presidential campaign that in November will determine the name and party of the next White House occupant.

“How dare Obama do his Job,” said Republican leader Mitch McConnell. “This is just Obama playing politics. If he wants to play politics, he should run for president or something.”

President Obama nominated Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court and Republicans are furious the President would pull this Presidential duty when Republicans told him not to.

“We told him weeks ago that we would not nominate a judge,” said McConnell. “Yet, he continues to work more than two hours a day. Take a break, sir.”

Rep. House Speaker chimed in, “We told Obama no one was going to work until next. What does he not get about that?

“This is just more of Democrats trying to govern during an election cycle and we Republicans won’t stand for it.”
