Syrian officials claim to have recovered the body of former ISIS leader turned male prostitute Abdul Hassan al-Rahman near the Turkish border of Syria just south of Kobani.
The former ISIS leader allegedly turned to male prostitution after a crushing defeat to Syrian Army forces in 2016 made him “lose his mind” according to several jihadists accounts.
Al-Rahman was one of twenty ISIS soldiers to survive a brutal attack by the Syrian Army in 2016, leaving the former leader in a spiraling depression after which he started to dress as a woman, changed his name to Amira and prostituted himself to other ISIS soldiers.
Al-Rahman’s body was found this week during the arrest of 22 suspected ISIS militants who claimed he had “bled to death from injury from sex with a camel” report Syrian authorities.
Al-Rahman who indulged in sexual acts with many men during a previous celebration the night before was tied to a tree and “forced into having sex with a male camel” according to eyewitness accounts.
Abdul Hassan al-Rahman is believed to have fallen victim to post-traumatic stress disorder and depression according to the London-based psychiatrist, Shimon Rabin.
“Many ISIS soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder are eventually forced to face their inner homosexual urges,” he told the Damas Herald.
“As most ISIS soldiers do not have any contact with women, they develop strong repressed homosexual tendencies towards their male soldier counterparts,” he explained.
“It is also not that uncommon for Muslims to repress their homosexual urges with male animals as the Koran permits it” he added.
Former ISIS leader Abdul Hassan al-Rahman had reached the CIA’s most wanted list in 2013 after playing a major role in the Battle of Raqqa, making it the first provincial capital claimed to come under ISIS control in the Syrian civil war.
