Formerly known as Bruce Jenner, announced her new name of Caitlyn Jenner as part of the gender transition process on 1 June 2015.

It has been reported that Caitlyn Jenner would be honored with Arthur Ashe Courage Award on 15 July 2015 and Noah Galloway is now runner-up.

ESPN executive producer Maura Mandt said:

Bruce Jenner is one of the greatest Olympians, the ESPYS are honored to celebrate Bruce becoming Caitlyn. She will help to educate people on the challenges that the transgender community faces. Caitlyn Jenner wins the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, and we are sorry to inform that Noah Galloway (or Lauren Hill) is now runner-up!

Noah Galloway

The photo reads:

Caitlyn Jenner won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. The runner up was this guy: Army Veteran Noah Galloway, who lost an arm and a leg to a roadside bomb in Iraq, and now competes in Crossfit events, runs marathons, and competed in the 58-hour Death Race.

For those unfamiliar, Galloway is a war veteran who lost his arm and leg in Iraq.

According to many media channels and reporters Caitlyn Jenner is a far less deserving candidate than CrossFit fitness company celebrity and Army veteran Noah Galloway, and Caitlyn Jenner never should have been considered for the authur ashe courage award over Noah Galloway.

Leave your opinion on Caitlyn Jenner getting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award instead of Noah Galloway.
