HOLLYWOOD | Comedy actor Jack Black has died aged 46, according to tweets issued by his band, Tenacious D.
Twitter has been plunged into sadness following the announcement ‘Jack Black has died, aged 46.’

A message posted on his bands’s official Twitter page claimed: “I’m sad to officially annouce the death of Jack Black at the age of 46, rest in peace brother. #RipJackBlack ”

Few minutes later another tweet sent out the hashtag #RIPJackBlack, while a third read “It is with a heavy heart I am to announce that Jack Black passed away last night at 3:37am. The cause of death is yet unknown.”
His twitter and Facebook account has been flooded with fans for sympathies. Black was indeed alive and well performing in Europe last night, but according to sources he fell while performing on stage and was later pronounced dead by EMS.
