TEXAS | A leader of the Dallas Ku Klux Klan chapter, Johnson Gill has sparked a wave of outrage after saying that “guns are not the problem, black people with guns are” referring to the Dallas shooting which killed five police officers.
The head of the local KKK chapter warned that “history will repeat itself again and again, as long as black people are allowed to have guns” in front of crowd before the Dallas Town Hall, surrounded by heavily armed police officers.
“There is no gun problem in America” he told supporters.
“Guns don’t kill people, black people kill people” he said under a roar of applause.
“The problem is whose hands you put the guns in” he added.
“Guns are harmless, but black people, with or without guns, are a menace to society, it’s a fact” he said, moments before the small group of KKK members was dispersed by local authorities who feared for the security of the clan members.
